Soul Centered Education Initiative 

 This presentation will center on what is meant by a soul-centered school, examples from those kinds of schools and how people can join the movement.

Presenter: Debra Watkins, spent 37 years as a teacher, counselor and project manager.  She was a founding member of the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators (SCCABE) and Black Students of California United (BSCU), and the founder of the Dr. Frank S. Greene Scholars Program (GSP) and California Alliance of African American Educators (CAAAE), now A Black Education Network (ABEN), where she serves as the Executive Director.
