The virtual 2020 Fall Financial Literacy Workshop aims to educate individuals on the importance of discernment. We will take a deep dive into defining traditional Holistic African Saving systems and how they differ from deceptive trending pyramid schemes!

Join us as the panel shares their wealth of information!



In this workshop we will discuss:

  • Utilizing the wisdom and legacy of our Ancestors, we can successfully
  • Eliminate our dependency on oppressive financial systems.
  • Build trust, unity and collaboration within our community.
  • Challenge injected oppressive rhetoric like, "Black people can't be trusted with money".
  • Heal deeply embedded wounds related to money matters.
  • Demonstrate Kujichagulia and Cooperative Economics.
  • Model “Sankofa” for our children.
  • Defining traditional African Saving systems and how they differ from deceptive trending pyramid schemes.
