APPEAL Inc. is creating the first national Black credit union, a nationwide cooperatively Black-owned financial institution. By utilizing the unique structure of a credit union, we will provide a financial institution where the primary goal is the financial well-being of communities of African Descent.

National Scale:

There is a long history of credit union patronage in Black communities. This institution is breaking new ground due to its national scale, a never before seen leveraging of Black economic power.

Black-Owned Cooperative Financial Institution:

Our proposed credit union's common bond is membership in APPEAL Inc., a community organization of persons of African descent. Every credit union member will be a co-owner of the institution.
