A Critical Time for the Movement for Reparations: The Importance of Congressional Hearings on H.R. 40 and S.B. 1083

We will explore the evolution of the issue of reparations with one of the founding members of the premier organizations organized to fight for reparations.  We will explore the Congressional Hearings and both bills on H.R. 40, from the House, and S.B. 1083, from the Senate.

How is the renewed media interest in the issue of reparations informed by the centuries long fight by reparations activists and organizations?

What can we all do now to move us closer to achieving this monumental redress?
