The author presents a thought-provoking discussion based on his newly published book “A Reader of Afri-Centric Theory and Practice: Philosophical and Humanistic Writings of Aminifu R. Harvey"

Presenter – Dr. Aminifu R. Harvey is the pioneering social worker in the area of Afri-centric theory and practice. In 1979 Dr. Harvey published the first social work article on Afri-centric theory and practice. He has consistently published works addressing the human condition of people of African descent. The articles in the book include the historic kidnapping of Africans to present-day issues including the killing and abuse of Black people to issues of reparations.
