The bus will leave the Thurgood Marshall Center at 10 am sharp and travel to the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum in Baltimore, MD, a wax museum committed solely to the study and preservation of African history.  At the Museum, we will receive a guided tour of the nearly 30,000 square feet of exhibit space, with over 100 life-size, life-like wax figures highlighting historical and contemporary personalities of African ancestry, and scenes in African history, including a full model slave ship exhibit telling the powerful 400 year history of the Atlantic Slave Trade, and a compelling exhibit on the role of youth in making history.

Participants will gain a great appreciation of African history, including the contribution of local Blacks to African History

While in Baltimore, we will also pay a visit to Everyone's Place African Cultural Center & Shop, before heading back to D.C.
