Empowerment Matters in Black Lives: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Black Power Movement: Where Are We Now?

An examination of Black Power since Kwame Toure raised his fist in defiance and shouted it.  What are the similarities between the Black Power Movement of the 60’s and Black Lives Matter today?  What are we doing differently?  What remains the same?  What lessons have we learned and how can those lessons move us forward?
